There are thee elementary schools, one middle school and one high school in the Penns Valley Area School District. These schools are the Penns Valley Elementary School, the Miles Township Elementary School, the Centre Hall Elementary School, the Penns Valley Intermediate School, and the Penns Valley High School. Penns Valley School District also provides Pre-Kindergarten (age 4) and Kindergarten. Students come from Spring Mills, Centre Hall, Millheim, Madisonburg, Aaronsburg, rebersburg, Coburn and Potters Mills.
In addition to the academics, students have the opportunity to participate in the marching band, the concert band or to join the choir. There is a full athletic program at the school and the teams are always competitive.
