- Remained actively involved in land and housing valuations through oversight responsibilities of County Assessment Office, County Housing Office and serving as member of the Board of Assessment and Revision of Taxes
- Started Centre County's First Time Homebuyer's Program under Act 137, which established a no-interest revolving loan fund to subsidize closing costs and down payments
- Served as a Governor Ridge appointed member of the Pennsylvania State Housing Advisory Board
- Initiated Centre County's first storm water management plan and worked to assure that an adequate water, sewer, waste infrastructure was in place to facilitate the continued growth of Centre County
- Oversaw research of Centre County's report on growth trends and housing costs
