ALL ABOUT PENN STATE: PSU Students back on campus

Penn State students spent this past weekend moving back to Happy Valley. Due to the COVID19 pandemic, it has been quite a different process than normal.  The Borough of State College, where Penn State University calls home, has a masking ordinance in place that will be enforced.

This year for Penn State students will be a different atmosphere than before. As students return, Penn State and the borough have established rules for wearing face masks, social distancing and have limited gatherings in an effort to prevent spread of the coronavirus. This will limit all sporting events and social events that have been a huge part of the Penn State Community.

Some students that have returned to campus have been receiving backlash for not following these guidelines. This has been addressed and students are spreading the message to get everyone to follow the rules so they can continue to stay on campus.

Students have been warned about the potential shut down that could happen amid the Coronavirus and hope that everyone will use precautions and can continue to stay on campus for the remainder of the semester.
